Every organisation on Invantive Cloud Status is a tenant. A tenant has one list of components, one or more pages, its own operators and its own subscribers. Tenants never see each other's data. Invantive itself is the tenant `invantive`. A tenant is created for a party of [[Invantive Cloud/Invantive Cloud|Invantive Cloud]] with a running contract for Invantive Cloud Status. Its name and time zone are taken over from Invantive Cloud. ## Pages A page is an ordered list of groups, and a group is an ordered list of components. One component can be shown in groups of several pages. A page is public or internal: - A public page can be read by anyone and is indexed by search engines. - An internal page can only be read by the operators of the tenant after signing in. It can show components that are hidden from the public pages, such as test environments. The house style of a page is set under [[Invantive Cloud Status/Menu/Settings|Settings]]: title, logo, favicon, colours for light and dark mode and links in the top bar. ## Host Names Every page is reached under a host name. One host name always shows exactly one page: - The first page of a tenant is available straight away under `<tenant>.status.invantive.eu` and under `statuspage.invantive.eu/tenant/<tenant>`. - A further page gets a subdomain of `status.invantive.eu` or a host name of the tenant's own domain. An own host name is a DNS `CNAME` record that points at `statuspage.invantive.eu`. Invantive Cloud Status checks the record and then obtains a certificate for the name automatically. The steps are described in [[Invantive Cloud Status/Procedures/Use an Own Domain|Use an Own Domain]]. ## Limit A tenant has one limit: the number of probe polls per hour. The limit is set by Invantive from the contract. The number used in the current hour is shown on the [[Invantive Cloud Status/Menu/Dashboard|dashboard]].
