[[Invantive MCP Server/Invantive MCP Server|Invantive MCP Server]] offers seven tools for a status page of Invantive Cloud Status. An AI client such as Anthropic Claude uses them to read the status and to report incidents. Invantive MCP Server is configured with the address of the status page and an [[Invantive Cloud Status/Menu/API Tokens|API token]]; a token of scope `read` offers only the reading tools. The tools are: - `status_get_summary`: the overall state, the components with their state, the open incidents and the planned maintenance. - `status_list_incidents`: the newest incidents, optionally only those not resolved; at most 100. - `status_get_incident`: one incident with its updates, by its public id such as `2026-0187`. - `status_create_incident`: opens an incident with a title, a first update, the impact, the phase, an optional template and the affected components with their state. - `status_add_update`: adds an update with a phase to an incident, with an optional note for operators only; the phase `resolved` closes it. - `status_set_component_state`: sets the state of a component, by default held against the probes. - `status_schedule_maintenance`: plans a maintenance with its window, message and affected components, by default starting and completing by itself with the probes muted. The texts written by the tools are for customers and never name a customer.
