The management API lets scripts, deployment pipelines and Invantive Data Hub change the status of a tenant. Its base address is `https://statuspage.invantive.eu/api/v1/tenant`. Every request carries an [[Invantive Cloud Status/Menu/API Tokens|API token]] of the tenant as a bearer token.
The following example sets a component to a partial outage and holds that state against the probes; `"hold": false` releases it again:
```text
curl -X PUT https://statuspage.invantive.eu/api/v1/tenant/components/exact-online-netherlands/state \
-H "Authorization: Bearer sts_..." -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"state": "partial_outage", "hold": true}'
```
The API covers the components, pages and groups, tags, incidents with their updates, templates and post-incident reports, maintenance, probes, subscribers, integrations, operators, host names, API tokens, the audit trail and the export of the tenant. Lists are returned as `{"value": [...]}`. A change of a page needs the header `If-Match` with the version read before, so two operators do not overwrite each other.
A failed request answers with status 4xx or 5xx and a body of [RFC 9457](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc9457) with the message code in `messageCode`. The full description is available as an OpenAPI file from Invantive.
