The menu "Incidents" lists the incidents of the tenant, open ones first. The meaning of phases and impact is explained in [[Invantive Cloud Status/Concepts/Incidents and Maintenance|Incidents and Maintenance]]. ## New Incident "New incident" opens the form "New Incident": ![The form "New Incident" with the template and the list "Affected Components and Their State".](20261106-status-incident-new.png) - Template: an optional [[Invantive Cloud Status/Menu/Incident Templates|template]] that fills title, message, phase and impact. - Title: the title readers see, such as "Exact Online Netherlands: invoices time out". - Phase and Impact: the phase of the first update and the impact. - Message: the first update, written for customers. - Started: the start of the incident; an earlier moment enters the incident after the fact. - Affected Components and Their State: per component the state it gets while the incident is open, or "Not affected". The incident is shown at once on every page that contains an affected component, and sent to the subscribers who follow one. ## Updates Clicking an incident opens it with its timeline: ![An open incident with the fields "Phase", "Update" and "Internal Note" and its timeline.](20261106-status-incident-detail.png) - Phase: the phase of the new update. "Resolved" closes the incident and returns its components to operational. - Update: the text readers see. - Internal Note: a note for operators only, never published or sent. - "Publish update" publishes the update. - "Correct this update" under an update in the timeline changes its text. The correction is shown as a correction and the earlier version is kept. - "Title, Impact and Components" changes those of the incident. ## Post-Incident Report Under "Post-Incident Report" a report in Markdown is written for a resolved incident. With "Publish the report" checked, the report is published with the incident once it is resolved. "View as a reader" opens the public page of the incident.
