A status page is published under a host name of the own domain, such as `status.acme.eu`, as follows: - Create a DNS `CNAME` record for the host name that points at `statuspage.invantive.eu`. - Open the tab "Host Names" of the menu "Settings". - Enter the host name under "Add Host Name", choose the page and the kind "Primary", and choose "Add". - Invantive Cloud Status checks the `CNAME` record every 15 minutes. The column "DNS" shows when it was found. - Once the record is found, a certificate for the host name is obtained automatically. The column "Certificate" shows its state. - The page is reached under `https://status.acme.eu`. The certificate is renewed automatically before it expires. The host name answers only once its record has been found; until then, requests for it are refused. ## Limitations A host name shows exactly one page, and is registered for one tenant only. A record that points elsewhere, or a name of another tenant, is refused.
