After logging on, the main menu shows the functions of the application: ![[20261028-ct-home.png]] ## Main Menu The panel "Functions" opens one of the three functions: - [[Import Exchange Rates]] loads exchange rates into Exact Online companies. - [[Dutch ICP Transactions]] downloads the data for the Dutch ICP declaration as an Excel workbook. - [[Foreign Currency Transactions]] downloads the foreign currency transactions as an Excel workbook. The same functions are listed in the menu on the left, so another function can be opened at any time. "Home" in the menu and in the breadcrumbs returns to the main menu. The panel "Try a different Invantive product" opens a trial of another Invantive product in a new tab. ## Top Bar The top bar holds, from left to right: - The button with nine squares, which shows or hides the links to the other apps and sites of Invantive. - The name of the application, which returns to the main menu. - The indicators "European Central Bank" and "Open Exchange Rates"; see below. - The language of the user interface: English, Dutch, German, Spanish or French. - "Support Forums", which opens the Invantive community forums. - The question mark in a circle, which opens this manual in a new tab. It is hidden on a phone. - The name of the user and the company, and the user icon, which open the [[Invantive Currency Tools for Exact Online/Functions/User Settings|User Settings]]. A bell on the user icon signals that one or more Exact Online companies are not offered for use, for instance because they are inactive or outside the service area. Hovering over the bell shows "Some of your companies are unavailable: see your user settings."; the [[Invantive Currency Tools for Exact Online/Functions/User Settings|User Settings]] list the companies. ## Indicators of the Rate Sources The indicators "European Central Bank" and "Open Exchange Rates" show how current the exchange rates of each source are. Hovering over an indicator shows the last day loaded and its age in working days, such as `27-10-2026 00:00 (UTC); 1.5 d.`. The colour of the dot follows the age: - Green: less than 1.5 working days old. - Yellow: 1.5 working days old or more. - Orange: 3 working days old or more. - Red: 4.5 working days old or more. The rates are loaded four times a day. The European Central Bank publishes no rates on weekends and on its holidays, so a yellow dot on a Monday morning is normal. See [[Exchange Rate Origin]] for the sources. ## Bookmark Each function shows a button with two sheets of paper at the bottom right. It copies a link to the form with the current selection to the clipboard, for use as a bookmark or to share with a colleague. The address in the browser also holds the selection after running a function, such as `valuta-tools-nl.html?country=nl&preset=nl-currency-import-query&divisions=102673&number_of_days=8&currencies=USD,EUR,GBP&testrun=true`. Opening such a link fills in the form with the same values.
