A sign-in is needed for the databases on [[Invantive Credentials Server/Invantive Credentials Server|Invantive Credentials Server]]. A database from the settings files of the other Invantive products on the same computer needs no sign-in. The app signs in with the user name and password of Invantive Cloud: - Choose the round account button at the top right of the window, or choose "Settings" and look at the section "Account". - Choose "Sign in". - The "Sign in to Invantive Cloud" window opens. Enter the "User name" and the "Password" of Invantive Cloud. - Choose "Sign in". - Invantive Drive keeps the user name and the password only after Invantive Credentials Server has accepted them. They are kept on this computer, encrypted for the Windows account, and are used only for Invantive Credentials Server. - When the sign-in does not succeed, the window stays open and tells why, for example "Signing in did not succeed" followed by the reason. In a release that signs in with Invantive Connect, the button reads "Sign in with Invantive Connect" and the sign-in takes place in the browser. After the sign-in the account menu shows a greeting, the account and the servers that are used. ## Sign Out The sign-in is forgotten as follows: - Choose the round account button at the top right of the window. - Choose "Disconnect account".
