The "Classifications" screen registers and changes classifications. A classification is a label that is linked to a project, a process, an organisation, a person or a document. The label provides additional information about the item it is attached to. In this way it enables keyword-based classification and indexing, so that information can be found more efficiently. Classifications use a tree structure in which a full stop separates the levels. The classification `A.B` therefore requires the presence of the classification `A`. The screen contains the following fields: - "Code": The unique code of the classification. - "Description": The description of the classification. - "Explanation": A possible explanation.
