The budget deviation workbench simplifies the handling of the deviation per budget per cost category. The "Forecast" column opens a window in which an increase or decrease can be entered to adjust the current balance. Invantive Estate then calculates the latest estimate. The following example shows the calculation. The "Realization" balance of a cost category is EUR 150. This balance is based on a contract of EUR 80, an invoice without order of EUR 70 and an expectation of EUR 125. If EUR 30 extra is needed, the user enters EUR 30 via "Expectation". The total deviation then becomes EUR 180.
