A process unit status describes the phase of a process unit. A process unit typically starts in an ordered phase, goes to invoicable and then to finished. The whole process can also be moved straight to invoicable. The subject "Process Unit Status" registers these statuses.
The screen has these fields:
- "Code": the unique alphanumeric code of the status.
- "Description": the description of the status in natural language, shown on reports and screens.
- "Start Status": whether a process unit starts with this status.
- "End Status": whether this status ends the life of a process unit.
- "Ready for Invoicing": whether a process unit with this status can be invoiced.
- "Booked": whether the process units with this status have been booked and are therefore final.
- "Icon (URL)": the relative or absolute address of a picture of the status.
- "Sort Order": the number that decides the order of the statuses in a drop-down box.
- "Explanation": a free explanation.
The statuses of the demonstration database are "Entered", "Sold", "Billable" and "Invoiced". See [[Invantive Estate/Concepts/Processes|Processes]].
