The "Profile Option Values" screen registers, modifies and deletes profile option values. A profile option value sets a system property. The screen [[Invantive Estate/Subjects/Advanced/Profile Options|profile options]] indicates whether a value may be entered for a specific profile option. Entering a profile option value does not change the default value of the profile option. Instead, it creates an adjustment record. The value of the adjustment record has priority over the default value of the [[Invantive Estate/Subjects/Advanced/Profile Options|profile option]]. For example, the profile option "Send application management mail to [email protected]" is overruled at system level when the email address `[email protected]` is entered as profile option value. Profile option values are closely related to [[Invantive Estate/Subjects/Advanced/Profile Options|Profile Options]] and [[Invantive Estate/Subjects/Advanced/User Profile Option Values|User Profile Option Values]]. The entry fields have the following meaning: - "Value": The profile option value that is assigned to the profile option at system level. - "Explanation": An explanation of the assigned profile option value. The following fields are display-only: - "Profile Option": The code of the profile option. - "Description": The description of the profile option. - "Specified": When checked, a value other than the default value is specified. - "Default Value": The value that applies when no other value is specified.
