The "Transactions" screen shows transactions.
A transaction is a change of data registered by Invantive Estate. The application stores all transactions, except the huge number of transactions that the ERP interface causes.
For each transaction, the application records the following information:
- By whom: the user name.
- When: the time.
- From which form: the module.
- From which PC: the machine.
- Which action: the action performed.
- In which table: the table.
- In which session: the database session.
The application also allocates an ascending transaction number. Finally, every transaction refers to the changed data with a table reference. This reference is a unique number within the table, stored in the `ID` column, that traces the modified data exactly.
The screen has no entry fields. All fields are display-only:
- "Login": The user name as registered in [[Invantive Estate/Subjects/CRM/Persons|Persons]].
- "Module": The module that was used for the transaction.
- "Machine": The IP address of the computer that generated the transaction.
- "Table": The name of the table in which the action was performed.
- "Action": The SQL action that the transaction started. The action is a `select`, an `update`, an `insert` or a `delete`.
- "Transaction": The ascending transaction number.
- "Time": The date and time at which the transaction was executed.
- "Table Reference": The unique number within the table, stored in the `ID` column, that refers to the changed data.
- "Database Session": A unique alphanumeric value that identifies the session.
- "Database Session": The database session ID. The ID specifies the unique database session at a given moment in time.
- "Database Session Serial": The serial that specifies a unique database session together with the database session number until the database system restarts, regardless of the moment in time. A database session number can be reused after some time, so it is not unique on its own. Together with the database session serial, it forms a unique combination.
- "Database Audit Session": The ID that links to the database audit trail session.
