The subject "Projects Workbench" shows a project workbench with all relevant information of a project, consolidated and integrated into one overall picture. The workbench is meant for project developers. After a project is selected in the search results, the relevant project details at level 4 are shown, see [[Invantive Estate/Subjects/Reports/Financial Project Overview Level 4|Financial Project Overview Level 4]]. When a project is selected directly with the shortcut filter at the top of the subject, the workbench shows the details at once. In that case the search section at the top is hidden. The workbench shows per cost type, for both costs and revenues, the differences from the budget. The data at this level, such as budgets, contracts, orders and invoice lines, can be opened to view or change the underlying details. The data itself cannot be changed in the workbench. The details always open in a separate window first. Two kinds of details exist. The first kind opens a window with the data of one item, for example a budget. The data in this window can be edited as described in [[Invantive Estate/Subjects/Finance/Budgets|Budgets]]. Closing this window returns to the workbench. The workbench must then be recalculated to show the changes. The second kind opens a window with a menu that offers multiple actions, for example for a project. An action button at the top right of the window, such as "orders", shows the corresponding information. The data in this window can be edited as described in [[Invantive Estate/Subjects/Budget Control/Orders|Orders]]. Closing this window returns to the workbench. The workbench must then be recalculated to show the changes.
