The subject "Budgets" registers the budgets of projects. A budget is a financial amount that is available to execute certain activities, such as "demolition". Budgets are allocated to the revenues and costs of a project. They are the individual activities that the project must detail. This screen applies the first level of detail, the cost category. The board judges budgets on the basis of an exposé. The financial administration registers them per cost category. A budget within a cost category can be split between different contracts (third party or actions). This gives a better view of the available budget space, see [[Invantive Estate/Subjects/Budget Control/Contract Budgets|Contract Budgets]]. The entry fields have the following meaning: - "Project": The project of which the budget is part. - "Cost Type": The cost category on which the budget is registered. Cost categories can only be chosen from a master roll-up of the type "Revenues" and "Costs". - "Budget": The budgeted amount. - "Explanation": A written explanation of the budget, for example a short indication of the calculation. - "Documents": The documents linked to the budget. - "Expected Maturity": The expected date on which the cash flow starts. - "Expected Maturity End": The expected date on which the cash flow ends. - "Distribution Method": The way in which the cash is distributed in time. The other fields have the following meaning: - "Budget after Movements": The budget after the adjustments for budget movements. - "Size": The size of the linked documents. - "Budgeted Result": The margin of the project. It is the total of all revenue budgets minus the total of all cost budgets.
