The subject "Hours" registers the hours that people worked. A time registration is part of a balanced timesheet. It is used to manage and control the use of manpower. Time registrations become invoice lines through the [[Invantive Estate/Subjects/Finance/Concept Invoice Lines|Draft Invoice Lines]] and the general ledger. The entry fields have the following meaning: - "Name": The name of the employee. Hours can be entered on behalf of other employees. - "Start": The date and time at which the effort started. - "Effort (hours)": The number of hours spent. - "Labor Type": The type of labour. It groups the hours spent and can affect the allocated costs. - "Explanation": A short explanation of the activities performed. - "Location": The location where the work was performed. - "Process": The process on which the time was spent. Either "Process" or "Project" must be entered. Only open processes are displayed. Hours cannot be written on closed processes. - "Project": The project on which the time was spent. Either "Process" or "Project" must be entered. Link the hours to a process if a process exists to which they belong. Timesheets based on processes can be analysed more thoroughly. - "Unit Sales Price": An optional deviating unit sales price per unit, used in invoicing. - "Hours Billable": The number of hours that can be invoiced. The other fields have the following meaning: - "Timesheet Status": The timesheet status, as registered in [[Invantive Estate/Subjects/Administration/Timesheet Statuses|Timesheet Statuses]]. - "Booked Project": The project, as registered in [[Invantive Estate/Subjects/Finance/Projects|Projects]]. - "Cost Booked": Indicates whether the hours of this time registration have been booked.
