The subject "Documents" of the navigation tree holds the documents which are registered in Invantive Estate, such as drawings, offers, letters and templates, each with the project or other row it concerns. In the demonstration database the node shows "Documents (50+)": at least fifty documents, the first of which are numbered 50 and up. ## List Selecting the node shows the documents as a [[Invantive Estate/Screens/Lists|list]]: ![[20261025-estate-documents-list.png]] The list has the following columns, in the order shown: - "MIME Type" - "Original File Name" - "Document Object Type" - "Identifier" - "Project Full Name" ## Summary Expanding the node lists the documents as child rows, named after the number and the file name. Selecting a row opens its [[Invantive Estate/Screens/Summaries|summary]] on the right, here for the document `53 - vb funda molenweg 25a.pdf`. The summary strip of a document is spread over two rows of tabs: ![[20261025-estate-documents-summary.png]] The picture shows the tab "Document": the number, the identifier, the original file name, the type, the status, the version, the language, the author and the dates of validity, followed by a section "Properties" with the file name and the changes. The first tab, "Document Preview", shows a preview of the contents; the demonstration documents are empty, so it only says that an empty document has no preview. The summary offers the following tabs: - "Document Preview": the contents of the document. - "Document": the fields of the document in the sections "General" and "Properties". - "Document (-)": a further tab, empty for this document. - "Document Classifications (-)": the classifications of the document; empty for this document. - "Author": the person who wrote the document. - "Document Involvements (-)": the involvements of persons and organisations in the document; empty for this document. - "Subfunctions (-)": the subfunctions of the document; empty for this document. - "Document Status": the status of the document. - "Document Type": the type of the document. The window has a toolbar with "Save", "Hide Preview" and "Advanced", a pane "Properties" on the left, a pane "Classifications" under it and the pane "Preview" on the right: ![[20261025-estate-documents-edit.png]] The window has the following parts: - "Properties": "Contents (URL)", "Name", "Origin" (a kind of row and the row itself, here the project `Plein`), "Author", "Type", "Status", "Language", "Version", "Publish" and "Unique Identification". The pane scrolls on to further fields, such as "Valid From", "Valid To", "Sort Order", "Created at" and "Updated at". - "Classifications": the list "Available", from which classifications are moved to the list "Assigned" with the buttons ">", "<" and "<<". - "Preview": the contents of the document; for an empty document it says that it cannot display an empty document. "Add" and "Paste new document" on the list start a new document.
