The search box in the toolbar of the main window of Invantive Estate for Windows searches the subjects of the repository from one place. Text typed in the box, followed by Enter, drops a grid with the rows found down under the box. The box shows the hint that search terms can be combined with filters such as `type:` or `deep:`. ## Searching for a Project Code Typing `Plein` and pressing Enter shows a grid headed "Results" with the rows found, each with an icon and a description. In the demonstration database two rows are found: `101 - Marktplein` and `Plein - Plein renovatie`: ![[20261025-estate-search-results-plein.png]] The grid is a list of one column, "Results". The first row is highlighted. ## Restricting to One Subject A prefix such as `type:gbr` in the text restricts the rows found to one subject. The following picture shows the result of `type:gbr S` in the demonstration database, a list of persons only: ![[20261025-estate-search-results-type-gbr.png]] The combo box left of the search box offers one entry per subject: ![[20261025-estate-search-results-combo.png]] The entries, in the order shown, are: - "Search" - "Search Process" - "Search Project" - "Search Organisation" - "Search Unit" - "Search Person" - "Search Draft Invoice Line" - "Search Invoice" - "Search Purchase Order" - "Search Background Job" - "Search IP Address" - "Search Web Site" - "Search Function" - "Search Calls" - "Search Contract" - "Search Document" - "Search Barcode" - "Search Warehouse" - "Search Identity" - "Advanced..." Choosing "Search Person" while the box held `Plein` made the text `Plein type:gbr`: the prefix is added after the text already typed. ## Context Menu Right-clicking a row of the grid opens a context menu.
