Beside the data containers a database defines, every connection carries a handful of drivers of its own. They are visible at the top level of the [[Invantive Query Tool/Available Objects|Available Objects]] tree beside the containers, and they are addressed in a statement in the same way, with `@` after the table:

## What They Offer
- `DataDictionary`: what the connection itself knows - the tables, the columns and the containers it can reach. See [[Invantive Query Tool/The Data Dictionary|The Data Dictionary]].
- `Os`: the file system and the operating system - the files in a folder, the contents of a file, the actions on a file. This is what a statement uses to read a CSV file or to write one.
- `Script`: what [[Invantive Script/Invantive Script|Invantive Script]] exposes as tables, such as the variables of the run.
- `Conversion`: conversions which are easier as a table than as a function.
- `Mail`: sending a message from a statement.
- `KeePass`: reading a KeePass database, so a credential does not have to be written into a script.
- `Internal`: what the engine keeps about itself.
- `PSQL Packages`: the procedures and functions of Invantive PSQL which can be called from a statement.
## Why It Matters
These make a statement able to do things which would otherwise need a program around it: read a file, write a file, look a value up, send a message. Together with [[Invantive Script/Invantive Script|Invantive Script]] that is the difference between "a query returns rows" and "a job runs".
They are also always there, whichever platform is connected to. A statement written against `Os` and `DataDictionary` runs on any connection, which makes them the safest thing to demonstrate with - after the [[Invantive Query Tool/Sample Database|sample database]] itself.
## Where They Are Documented
Each of them is documented per table and per column under [[Invantive UniversalSQL/Service Drivers/Service Drivers|Service Drivers]]; what is written here is only where they appear in this product and how they are reached.
