A translation is the text of a [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Concepts/Resource Code|resource code]] in one language of one application. The translations are listed under an application language as "Translations". How translations are maintained is described in [[Invantive Studio/Translations|Translations]] and [[Invantive Studio/Translation Workbench|Translation Workbench]].

## Fields
The details of a translation show these fields:
- "Resource Code": The key used to label the translation string.
- "Resource": Whether the translation is included in the resource files of the products.
- "Glossary": Whether the translation is included in the glossary of the language.
- "Language Independent": Whether the translation is independent of language. Names such as 'Invantive' are not language dependent.
- "Translation": Translation in the specified language and locale for the key.
- "(Part 2)": Extra space to store translations which exceed 4,000 bytes but not 4,000 characters.
- "(Part 3)": Extra space to store translations which exceed 4,000 bytes but not 4,000 characters.
- "(Part 4)": Extra space to store translations which exceed 4,000 bytes but not 4,000 characters.
- "Documentation": Documentation on the translation.
