A view column is one column of a [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Applications/Business Objects|business object]], such as the column `tbe_name` of `itgen_tables_v`. The columns of a business object or reporting object are listed under it as "Columns". It is either a [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Applications/Table Columns|table column]] of one of the view elements, or an expression in "Select Clause" that derives a value. Its labels, display control and display options can differ from those of the table column it shows.
