"Audit" shows, for one row, where it is stored, who created it and who changed it last, and what the user may do with it. It is on the context menu of every row in the tree and on the toolbar of the properties of a row. The window is titled "Audit" followed by the natural key of the row. Opening it needs the right "Audit"; without it the window refuses to open. ## The Window The window has four groups: - "About": the function and the database view the row belongs to, its primary key and natural key, and the original system group and reference. "Open" next to the database view opens the business object in the repository, for a user with the right to view business objects. - "Free Columns": the free columns of the row that are shown, which can be edited here. Closing the window after a change asks whether to save it. - "Audit": the moment, the user and the function of the creation of the row and of its last change. - "Privileges": per action - read, create, modify and delete - whether it is possible for this kind of row, whether the user is allowed it by the rights on the function under "About", and the result of both. Up to and including release 27.0 the group "Privileges" is not reliable when the window is opened from the tree or from the toolbar of the properties: from the tree it shows every action as neither possible nor allowed, and from the toolbar it shows the rights on "Audit" instead of those on the function of the row. The window shows the current row only. Earlier versions of the row are kept in its [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Concepts/History|history]].
