"Auto Complete" opens the window of the same name, in which [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Concepts/Autocomplete|autocomplete]] is run for one application: the application of the node selected in the tree, which is the application itself or any row beneath it. The title of the window names that application, and it stays the same when another node is selected while the window is open. Without a selected node in an application, Invantive Studio asks to select one first. The command is found on the ribbon under "Application" and "Development", and opens with `Ctrl+Alt+D` followed by `A`. Both work only for a user with the right to run autocomplete; for another user the command reports the missing right. Up to and including release 27.0 the command then does nothing. ## The Window The options under "Data Layer" complete the tables: - "Add Audit, ID and Free Text Columns to Data Objects": adds the identity column and the [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Concepts/Standard Columns|standard columns]] to every table. - "Add Referential Constraints between Data Objects based on ID Columns": adds a referential constraint for every column named after the alias of another table. - "Indexes", with "Primary key", "Foreign Keys" and "Original System Reference": adds the primary key, an index on every foreign key and a unique index on the original system reference. "Indexes" ticks or unticks the three at once. - "Add the User Interface Label of the Related Data Object to Referential ID Columns for clearer Errors": gives every reference column the label of the table it refers to, so that an error message names the related object. The options under "Business Layer" complete the business objects: - "Add a Business Object for each Data Object": adds a [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Concepts/Business Object|business object]] for every table. - "Add Elements to a Business Object for the Base Data Object and all Parents": adds the view elements that join every table the main table refers to. - "Add LOV Views to Data Objects for use in Elements": adds the list-of-values views of the [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Concepts/Code Domain|code domains]] as tables that view elements can join. - "Add Views for LOV Domains specified in Code bubs_lov_view_name_to_code": adds a list-of-values view for every domain named in that code. - "Add Labels of Base Data Object to associated Business Object": gives every business object the labels of its main table. Every option starts unticked. "OK" runs autocomplete with the ticked options and closes the window; "Cancel" closes it without running. Per ticked option, autocomplete first removes what an earlier run added and then adds it again, so rows entered by hand are kept. Up to and including release 27.0 the window does not pass the application to autocomplete, so it has no effect there. Release 28.0 and its BETA release 27.1 pass the application of the selected node.
