"Edit" opens a row in an edit window, in which its fields can be changed. It is on the context menu of a row in the tree and in a list, and on the toolbar of the details of a row. In a list, "Edit" opens one window per selected row. It needs the right to change that kind of row. A row that is shown as it was at an earlier moment cannot be changed; "Edit" is then disabled with the tooltip "This row is shown as it was at an earlier moment and cannot be changed.".
