An edit window adds or changes one row. Its title starts with "Add" or "Edit" followed by the singular label of the kind of row. It opens with "Add" on a list, with [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Commands/Edit|Edit]] and with [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Commands/Copy a Row|Copy]]. The fields follow the columns of the business object. A mandatory field is shown in bold, a field the user may not change is read-only, and a field that refers to another row offers the rows to choose from in a drop-down list. "OK" stores the row through the business layer, which applies every rule of the application; a rule that rejects the row shows its message and leaves the window open. "Cancel" closes the window without storing.
