Ticking nodes in the tree lists them in the middle pane. The list shows each ticked object with its "Code", its "Name", which is its natural key, and its "Description". Only objects of the same kind can be ticked together. Ticking an object of another kind shows the message "To show common properties all selected objects must be of the same type. Choose only objects of the same type!" and leaves it unticked. A click on a row selects the object in the tree; a double-click unticks it. When two or more objects are ticked, the right pane compares their properties, and [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Version Control/Compare Contents|Compare Contents]] and [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Version Control/Compare Properties|Compare Properties]] work on them.
