A new application is created in the tree as follows: - Select the group "Applications" in the tree. - Choose [[Invantive Studio/Ribbon/Add|"Add"]] on the tab "Home". A new application appears, named "application - APPLICATION". - In the property pane, enter the "Code", such as `sales/trunk`, the "Prefix" of its objects, such as `sales`, the "Name" and the "Language Code" of its texts. - Check the other settings, which start with sensible values, such as the names of the standard columns and the flag values; they are explained in [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Reference/Application Settings|Application Settings]]. - Choose [[Invantive Studio/Ribbon/Save|"Save"]]. The application then holds the folders for its glossaries, codes, languages, tables, business objects, reporting objects, modules and users. An application can also be started from an existing one with [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Commands/Selective Copy|Selective Copy...]].
