The [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Concepts/History|history]] of a row is kept in the history table of its table and can be queried with SQL: - [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Procedures/Log On to the Business Layer in a Script|Log on]] when the query runs directly in the database; through Invantive Query Tool this is done already. - Select from the history table, whose name is the table name with the first underscore replaced by `h`, and sort on the start of each version. For the users of Invantive Estate: ```sql select h_gebeurtenis , h_datum_start , h_datum_einde , naam from bubshgebruikers where aanmeld_code = 'system' order by h_datum_start ``` - Read the result from top to bottom. Each version was valid from its start until its end; the version that is still valid ends on 31 December 9999. A gap between the end of one version and the start of the next means the row was deleted in between. The command "Audit" on a row in Invantive Studio shows only who created the row and who changed it last; the earlier versions are in the history table.
