After a change to the tables, columns, indexes or referential constraints of an application, the tables in the database are brought in line with the model by the [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Concepts/Database Synchronisation|synchronisation]]: - [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Procedures/Log On to the Business Layer in a Script|Log on to the business layer]] as the owner of the schema. - In the block of the log-on, replace `null;` by the synchronisation of the application: ```sql itgen_install_database.sync_db_with_metadata ( p_apn_code => 'bubs/trunk' ); ``` - To try the change first, add `p_print_sql => true` and `p_execute_sql => false`; the statements are then shown instead of executed. - Limit the run to some objects with `p_object_pattern`, a pattern on the names of the tables. Objects in the database that the model no longer holds are removed, unless `p_remove_superfluous => false` is given. Generate the business layer afterwards, see [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Procedures/Generate the Business Layer|Generate the Business Layer]].
