A transaction is a change of data registered by the business layer: every change of an individual row of any table gets a transaction number, which is stored in the row. The transactions are listed under "Security" as "Transactions". Transactions are read-only and serve to trace the origin of an unexpected change; see [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Concepts/Audit Trail|Audit Trail]]. ## Fields The details of a transaction show these fields: - "User name": The code with which the user logged on. - "Module": Name of the module installed. - "Machine": Name of the workstation used to access the application. - "Table Name": Name of the business object changed. - "Action": The executed SQL action (select, insert, update or delete). - "Transaction Number": Unique number of the transaction, stored in the rows it changed. - "Time": Time of the RDBMS server at which the event occurred. - "Table Reference": Value of the object's ID within the business object that changed. - "Session-ID": Unique ID of the session executing the transaction.
