The settings of the installation hold the options that apply to every application and every user of the repository: whether the installation is shared by companies that may not see each other's data, whether transactions and interactions are registered, the rules for passwords, the order of authentication and the LDAP connection, the message shown after log-on and the language of the installation. The settings are opened under "Setup" with the node "Setting". ## Fields The details of a setting show these fields: - "Shared Environment": Whether the data in this installation is shared by multiple companies which may not see each other's data. - "Register Interactions": Whether interactions are registered in the audit. - "Register Transactions": Whether transactions are registered in the audit. - "Maximum Age Password (days)": Maximum age in days before a password must have been changed. - "Authentication Order": Order of the authentication. - "LDAP Distinguished Name system User": LDAP DN for the system user. - "LDAP Distinguished Name": LDAP DN for authentication using LDAP, where :account is replaced by the logon code. - "LDAP Host": Host name of the LDAP server. - "LDAP Port": Port for LDAP communication with the LDAP host. - "LDAP SSL": Whether Secure Sockets Layer is used. - "LDAP Wallet File": Oracle wallet file that contains the certificates for secured LDAP connections. - "LDAP Wallet Password": Password for the Oracle wallet file for secured LDAP connections. - "Logon Message": Message shown after log-on, when filled. - "Language Code": Language of the installation, chosen from the [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Setup/Languages|languages]] of the repository and shown with its name, such as "en - English". - "Documentation": Documentation on the settings. Up to and including release 27.0 the details do not show "Register Interactions", "Register Transactions", "Logon Message", "Language Code" and "Documentation"; see [[Invantive Studio/Repository/Reference/Known Limitations|Known Limitations]].
