"Connect" in the group "Connection" of the tab "Home" connects Invantive Studio to another database, for instance another repository. It opens the [[Invantive Studio/Ribbon/Log In Window|log-on window]], and after the log-on the tree is built again for the new repository. The key combination is `Ctrl+Shift+C`. The drop-down list of "Connect" also holds [[Invantive Studio/Ribbon/Disconnect|Disconnect]] and [[Invantive Studio/Ribbon/Configuration|Configuration]]. Without the right to connect, the button "Connect" stays visible and reports the missing right, as `Ctrl+Shift+C` does; the entry "Connect" in the drop-down list is hidden. Up to and including release 27.0 that report comes after the question about unsaved changes, and the answer "No" there has already dropped them.
