The window "Log in" connects Invantive Studio to a database. It opens at start-up when Invantive Studio cannot connect by itself, and with [[Invantive Studio/Ribbon/Connect|Connect]]. The window shows: - At the top, the product, its version and whom it is licensed to; when the licence expires soon, a warning with "Top up License". - "Database": the chosen database. Opening it shows the databases, which can be narrowed with "Search Databases" and marked as favourites with the star "Add to Favorites". - "Discover Databases": opens the window [[Invantive Studio/Ribbon/Discover Databases|Discover Databases]], for a user with the right to discover connections. - Per data container of the database, "User name" and "Password". - "Automatically Connect": connects to the same database at the next start without showing the window. - "Need help? Product Forums": opens the forum. - "Connect": logs on. The steps appear below it: "Connect.", "Check compatibility.", "Check license." and "Configure user.". The wrench in the top right corner opens [[Invantive Studio/Ribbon/Diagnostics|Diagnostics]] and the cross closes the window. Invantive Studio lists only databases on Oracle, the platform of the repository. How a database is defined is described in [[Settings]] and how its credentials are kept in [[Invantive Keychain]].
